ABOUT THE RETREAT

Share, Move, Rest, Restore, Transform at your Salty Escape.

Salty Escape is a soul-led island experience created for those craving deep rest, ocean air, and reconnection. This escape blends movement, stillness, and healing - guiding you back to balance through yoga, meditation, breathwork, and transformative energy sessions.

Each day invites you to reconnect with your body, release what no longer serves you, and rediscover joy in the simplicity of island living.

Every part of Salty Escape is designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and completely switch off from the outside world. From nourishing food to gentle movement and heart-opening experiences, everything is thoughtfully included so you can simply arrive and be cared for from start to finish.
All meals are freshly prepared with love, using local ingredients, and every day offers space to rest, recharge, and soak up the island magic.

Your home away from home in paradise. Each bungalow has been thoughtfully designed to help you feel relaxed, rested, and connected to nature. Expect light-filled rooms with ocean breezes, tropical gardens, and the gentle sound of the sea nearby. Whether you’re sharing with like-minded women/men or choosing a private retreat space, every room offers a calm, coastal feel that’s perfect for unwinding after a day of movement and exploration.

The beach is just steps away, offering a peaceful space for morning swims and sunset walks. Each bungalow is unique, surrounded by lush greenery and close to the ocean breeze. Spaces are limited and filled on a first-come basis, so we recommend booking early to secure your preferred room type.

FLIGHTS & TRAVEL

Getting to your island escape is simple, and we’ve made it as smooth as possible. Whether you’re flying from Brisbane or connecting from the Whitsundays, we’ll help you plan each step. Once you arrive in Santo, our friendly team will be waiting to transfer you straight to the retreat so you can start unwinding immediately.

Location: Santo, Vanuatu
Airport: Pekoa International (SON)
Arrival: Thursday by 2:00 PM
Departure: Following Thursday by 10:00 AM

Flights are not included, but return airport transfers are provided.

✈️ Flight Information:

Flights depart from Brisbane, Australia, and take approximately 2.5 hours to reach Vanuatu.
If you’re travelling from the Whitsundays, we recommend flying the day before to allow for a relaxed connection and overnight rest before your flight to Vanuatu.
Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive direct airline links and recommendations to make your travel planning easy. (We’ll include options such as Virgin Australia, Air Vanuatu, and Qantas.)
We’ll also provide a travel guide with step-by-step instructions, airport tips, and your packing checklist before departure.

ITINERARY

This is a rough itinerary - Salty Escape is all about slowing down, switching off, and flowing with the island rhythm. There’s no strict schedule; this escape is about enjoying the moments and reconnecting with yourself and nature.

Expect mornings of yoga and meditation, spontaneous blue hole adventures, cultural experiences, visits to Port Olry, evening yin and connection circles, and plenty of free time just to be.

Example Daily Flow:

Morning: Sunrise yoga & meditation
Midday: Brunch + free time for ocean swims or exploring
Afternoon: Group healing or island adventure
Evening: Yin yoga, hypnosis, or reflection circle

Itinerary may shift to allow for weather, flow, and group needs.

ADD-ONS

Enhance your Salty Escape experience with optional extras that add a touch of indulgence, healing, and adventure. Each add-on is designed to help you deepen your relaxation, connect more with yourself and the island, or simply enjoy a little more magic during your stay. These activities are completely optional - you can choose to join or spend that time soaking in the sun, resting, or exploring at your own pace.

Add-ons can be booked in advance or during your stay (subject to availability).

BOOKING & PAYMENT

Booking your Salty Escape should feel as easy and relaxed as the retreat itself. To keep things simple, we’ve created flexible payment options so you can secure your spot now and pay in a way that suits you. Once your deposit is made, everything else is taken care of — from communication to planning support and travel guidance. Spaces are limited to create an intimate, connected group experience, so we recommend booking early.

Investment: $2,458 per person | $5,000 per couple
Deposit: $500 per guest / $1,000 per couple
Payment Options: Pay in full or set up a flexible payment plan.

Once your deposit is received, you’ll get a confirmation email, and Leona will personally contact you with retreat details, travel info, and what to bring.

If booking for a couple, please reach out before payment to reserve your private room.

Payment plans can be tailored to suit your needs - simply reach out after booking if you’d like to arrange one.

Cancellation Policy

Your peace of mind matters to us. This detailed policy ensures that every guest fully understands the terms before booking, helping you make an informed decision and travel with confidence. We know that life can bring unexpected changes, and while we operate with compassion, it’s also important to maintain fairness for everyone involved in the retreat planning process.

General Terms:

By submitting your booking form and paying your deposit, you agree to these terms and conditions.
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).
This policy applies to all payments made for Salty Escape Vanuatu 2026.

Deposits:

A deposit of $500 per person or $1,000 per couple is required to secure your booking.
Deposits are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable as they are used to reserve your accommodation and retreat spot.

Payment Plans:

Payment plans are available upon request. Once a plan is confirmed, payments must be made on the agreed dates.
If a payment is missed without prior notice, your spot may be forfeited, and fees paid to date will not be refunded.

Cancellations by Guest:

More than 60 days before retreat start: Deposit non-refundable; remaining balance refunded.
31–60 days before retreat start: 50% of total retreat cost is non-refundable. The remaining 50% may be refunded.
30 days or less before retreat start: 100% of the retreat fee is non-refundable.
Failure to attend or early departure: No refunds or credits will be issued for any reason.
Guests may transfer their booking to another person (friend or family member) up to 14 days prior to the retreat start, subject to approval and a small $100 admin fee.

Cancellations by Host:

In the unlikely event that Salty Escape must cancel or postpone the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, venue unavailability, or insufficient participant numbers), guests will be offered one of the following:
- A full refund of all payments made (excluding personal travel costs), or
- A transfer of your booking to a future retreat date.
Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of the cancellation notice.

Travel Insurance:

Travel insurance is mandatory for all participants and must include coverage for trip cancellations, flight changes, lost luggage, natural disasters, and medical emergencies.
Proof of valid insurance must be submitted via the guest intake form no later than 30 days before departure.
Guests without proof of insurance will not be able to attend the retreat, and no refund will be given in this case.

Health and Safety:

Guests are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit and medically cleared to participate in yoga, meditation, and any adventure activities.
Please notify Leona of any pre-existing health conditions, allergies, or injuries before the retreat.
In the event of illness or injury during the retreat, any associated medical or evacuation costs are the responsibility of the guest.

Force Majeure:

Salty Escape is not liable for any refund or compensation if cancellation, delay, or change of arrangements occurs due to circumstances beyond our control - such as war, pandemic, weather conditions, political unrest, or airline disruptions.

Refund Method:

All approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 business days.
Currency conversion or bank fees are the responsibility of the guest.

Changes to the Itinerary or Venue:

The itinerary, activities, and venue may be adjusted to maintain safety, comfort, or alignment with local conditions. Any substitutions will be of equal or greater quality.

Final Acknowledgement: By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. This ensures a transparent, respectful, and supportive experience for everyone involved.
